What makes Lando different than other gyms? 

 

Every CrossFit gym is independently owned and operated. We have the choice to offer whatever programs we want. This means there are good gyms and there are bad gyms and everything in between. Just because a gym offers the same thing as another doesn’t mean you will get the same result. Programming (daily workouts offered), coaching, facility and equipment quality, amenities like showers and locker rooms, member lounges, parking, all are things that go into making the experience what it is for you, the consumer.

CrossFit Lando has been awarded “Best of Boston” by Boston Magainze for 2 years running, taking the crown of “Best Gym” in 2015 and 2016. Each of our 3 class types we offer are different but have the same goal : elite fitness for everybody. How do I become a member? How much does it cost? 

Membership starts after your intro class, a free session you sign up for ahead of time and participate in with a normal class. This allows you to get the full experience of our staff, facility, and the program’s style.

There are 2 types of memberships : Monthly Recurring Billing and Class Packs. Recurring options run based on how many days per week you want to attend a class and is billed monthly on the same date each month. We don’t offer refunds or holds on billing, and have a 25 day cancellation requirement. Class Packs are paid on a one time, up front basis for a set of classes that can be used at your discretion. These are a great option for someone with an inconsistent schedule but a strong commitment to their fitness.

How many days per week should I take class?

Any fitness program will only be as successful as the commitment you put to it. We do not allow “regular drop-ins” because we feel less than 2x per week is not sufficient to learn the process of each program well enough to see benefits short and long term. We recommend at least 3 classes per week or high intensity training that lasts at least 1 hour and ideally want members to be here at least 4 times per week to see the most out of their membership.

Do you have showers? What amenities do you have?

Look here for specifics about each location including pictures and size breakdown. Both Charlestown and Woburn have at least 5,000 square feet of training space and full service bathroom, locker room with lockers and changing facilities, and showers. Both locations have member lounges that include space to relax pre and post workout, WODify performance tracking setup, and a great place in general to grow with your fellow Landos.

CrossFit Lando Charlestown and CrossFit Lando Woburn both have ample free parking in private parking lots, and easy access from public transit and highways multiple directions.
