Wednesday 11.27: Holiday Feel Good Things; Lando Toys for Tots and Coat Drive

We have a number of awesome things for the Holiday Season coming up. Those things that take very little effort but can do a whole lot of good.

We have our annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive that will be collecting toys starting tomorrow, Wednesday, and run until December 15th.

We are also introducing a Coat Drive, driven by Coach Jen who works at a local shelter that the warm clothing is going to. This ends December 9th. Start collecting old (but clean) or new coats, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, anything warm, and bring them in.

If every member brought in 1 winter clothing item and 1 toy we would shatter expectations and previous years. Don’t let a child go this winter/holiday season without warm clothing or a gift to open. Think about that for a moment, then tell me you don’t want to help.

Today’s WOD: It’s that time ladies and gents. Time to earn all the food you will hopefully, undoubtedly eat in the coming days.

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving “Massacre” WOD is a sort of Lando community WOD that is ever changing. It’s just long, grueling, and very self fulfilling once you are done. It changes year to year but has the same theme: earn your calories!

Remember we are closed Thursday and Friday of this week. Wednesday and Saturday are normal schedules. Take time away from the gym and rest, recover, go for a hike, go to the casino, watch sports, don’t watch sports, just do something different!

All classes same WOD, Sweat will have some variations based on normal sweat scaling (no barbells).
