6.30 : Lando Appearance on Barstool Sports

I was interviewed by Michael McCarthy, “Large”, from Barstool Sports last week and it posted on the main page Sunday morning. It was a great experience, brief as it may be, and even taught me a thing or two about broadcast media which we are foraying into as we speak.

Say what you want about Barstool but I am a big fan of the brand. The blog post where my interview posted might encapsulate Barstool to a T. If you haven’t seen it yet you can right here.

Now I would be remiss in not explaining that I have nothing to do with the content they post on the blog. Part of what Barstool does is post gratuitous pictures and other content of overly sexualized people in whatever situation a specific blog or story might be about. I’m not commenting on good or bad, it just is what it is. I truly believe that as a company they do a lot of great things, from charitable giving to employing women and minorities in high profile jobs*, and standing up for what they believe in as the fastest growing media company in the world.

*First and only female CEO of a top 10 internet media company.

Anyways this day in age I felt it necessary to write that as a warning. The video was 100% me in terms of what I said, and there really wasn’t any editing to speak of. I swore too much and already apologized to my mother. I had a great experience with Large and the producer Booze. Please give it a watch and let me know what you think next time we talk!
